FOUR 3-hour sessions completed over FOUR days
Photoshop Intro Intensive is a beginner’s introduction to the world of digital image manipulation. This four day course aims to demystify Photoshop and provide students with a sound understanding of the digital format. Students will learn how to download, organize, manipulate, store, email and print their digital files. Central to this process is learning to utilize the digital darkroom; navigate around Photoshop and employ the necessary tools to process, crop, re-touch and enhance digital images.
Classes
Photoshop Intro is currently presented as an intensive four day introduction to Photoshop CS2. Sessions are 3 hours each and include presentations by lectures and students as well as course notes and supervised Photoshop workflows.
Needs
To do this course you need a basic understanding of photography, a USB flash drive and a selection of images (JPEG, TIFF or PSD) that you would like to experiment with.
Costs
R1 920 (includes tuition and lecture notes). Students are expected to bear their own printing costs.
