Surf Photography Workshop with Kent Locke

Put theory into practice and photograph surfers in action under the guidance of sports and action photographer, Kent Locke.

After an on-location introductory session covering gear and basic techniques, participants will spend time putting theory into practice by photographing surfers in action. Participants can ask questions and will receive one-on-one coaching during the shoot. Gear will be provided by Orms to shoot with on the day. The group will then return to the Orms Cape Town School of Photography studio to review and edit their photographs together.

11:00-13:00 – Edit on Macs

More about Kent Locke:

Kent Locke is a Cape Town based sports and action photographer specializing in surf and field hockey photography. Kent works closely with the South Africa national men’s hockey team and adidas hockey athletes, and has work published in ZigZag surfing magazine.
