Kate Davies has forged a successful career and sterling reputation as a pet photographer, in a way that always and truly depicts the essence of the animal. Kate will be joining us at the school for a very special 1-day workshop, where she will share her insights to her style and school of thought, and you will have the opportunity to photograph dogs in a real-life studio set-up!
And the best part – We need 7 doggy-models! So, if your dog is friendly and obedient, and you are one of the first 7 to ask, you can bring your best-friend along and get the images too!

MORE ABOUT KATE DAVIES
The Being Project is a platform created by Cape Town-based photographer, Kate Davies. Driven by a deep love for animals, Kate uses eloquent and striking portraiture to give her subjects a voice, to get people talking and to help animals. At the moment, the focus is dogs, “what I work to capture is the personality, the being that shares a life with people”. Kate’s intimate portraits capture dogs simply being themselves, not performing or posed to look cute and it’s this stillness dignity that makes the work so compelling.
