If you are interested in exploring the high definition video feature on your DSLR camera, then this 10 hour beginners’ workshop is for you. Students will be taught the core differences between stills and moving images, how to set up their camera for optimum movie shooting along with understanding film making terminology. Different equipment such as lenses, stabilising units and audio will be discussed. Useful practical techniques will be demonstrated in the practical session followed by a post production session using Adobe Premiere Elements 10.
Classes
This 10 hour workshop consists of 3 training sessions. Lectures will run on Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6-8pm. The practical session is on the Saturday 09h30-13h30.
Needs
A DSLR camera and a good working knowledge of it; various lenses; a tripod or monopod.
